It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Ahaditomo on August 23, 2023. He has been part of the FAPA Bureau as Vice President from 2003 to 2010.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues who are mourning this great loss.
Condolence letter to the family of Mr. Ahaditomo
TAIPEI — On February 11, 2023, the FAPA Bureau, led by its President Dr. Yolanda Robles, was officially received in a courtesy meeting at the Taiwan President’s Office by Vice-President, Dr. Lai Ching-Te. This meeting was facilitated by the host of the 2023 FAPA Congress, the Federation of Taiwan Pharmacists Associations (FTPA).
In this meeting, the Taiwanese government officials lauded the efforts of FTPA, led by its president Mr. Huang Chin-Shun, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and expressed their support for the upcoming FAPA 2023 Congress. FTPA officials expressed their gratitude to the Taiwan government and pledged to make the FAPA congress a successful event. Meanwhile, FAPA officials thanked both FTPA and the Taiwanese government officials for the warm hospitality and recognition of the value of the Pharmacy profession to society.
The courtesy meeting was held as part of the preparations for the 29th FAPA Congress that will be held on October 24-28, 2023 at the Taipei International Convention Center.Taipei
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – On November 12, 2022, the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) welcomed its newly elected officers for the term 2023-2026.
The officers were elected in the first-ever online election held last October 10-11, 2022. The election results were announced on October 15, 2022, to the FAPA Council.
The oath-taking ceremony was held on the last day of the 28th FAPA Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was led by President, Dr. Yolanda Robles.
The newly elected officers will take on the challenge of leading FAPA in advancing the pharmacy profession in Asia amidst the new challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. With their collective expertise and commitment to the profession, they are poised to lead FAPA toward a brighter future for the pharmacy profession in Asia.

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the sudden demise of our beloved FAPA President Mr. Mohamad Dani Pratomo, on Thursday evening, December 31, 2020. He had served our organization with great dedication for many years in various capacities and we truly appreciate his contributions to improving the Pharmacy profession through his work and leadership in the FAPA Council, FAPA Bureau, and as our current President. In this difficult time, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to all his loved ones and colleagues.
